Highlights
  • Dattner workers organize: More than 100 workers at Dattner Architects in New York have asked management to voluntarily recognize their union with the IAM. If recognized, it would be the largest unionized architecture firm in the US. We stand with them.
  • NYC Mayor’s Office of Worker Power: The first local office of its kind in the US launched in September, and it is worth a look if you are organizing in New York City.
  • NYC screening, Wednesday, November 11: Architecture Workers: Organizing for Change screens at Amalgamated Dwellings on the Lower East Side. Doors at 6:00 PM. RSVP is required. https://luma.com/elvg1o38
  • Host your own screening: The screening guide is live, and Chapter 2, Past Organizing, is now online. https://architecture-lobby.org/news/screening-guide
  • AMA #2, Thursday, November 12: Dan Jonas Roche, Andrew Santa Lucia, Lane Rick, and Aaron Cayer join James Heard to talk research, writing, and power. 9:00 PM EST on Zoom. https://architecture-lobby.org/event/ama-research-write-draw/
