Boombox Social with the Architecture Lobby

YAF and The Architecture Lobby are teaming up to host a social at BOOMBOX, a space for short-term occupancy by Latent Design. For the month of October, The Architecture Lobby is exhibiting “What is an Architect?” to explore, challenge, and celebrate the role of the architect today.

We invite you to join us to eat, drink, & socialize at this exciting new space on Thursday, October 22 at 6:30pm. Tocco is providing discounted drinks and a food truck will be on site.

Latent Design spent over a year navigating the political realm to make BOOMBOX a reality. Today, it successfully sits as a semi-permanent kiosk in a previously unoccupied public plaza – a first of its kind in our world of carefully zoned land here in Chicago. BOOMBOX is part of Activate! Chicago – a program transforming underutilized spaces into cultural and economic catalysts.
