Joshua Barnett is an architect and union shop steward who has worked for the New York City Housing Authority since 1999. He is a member of The Architecture Lobby, and is active in TAL’s Green New Deal working group, as well as in the DSA and the union Climate Justice Committee. Joshua is a third-generation resident of Brooklyn, NY and a graduate of Pratt Institute (’83) and has previously worked in construction as well as for the Boston Housing Authority, from which he was fired for union organizing.
