GSAPP Alternative Practice Workshop

Organized by A-Frame, Columbia’s GSAPP student group, in collaboration with The Architecture Lobby.

The goal of this event is to critically examine how new design technologies are changing how architecture practice engages the economy. We will base our analysis on both transformations within the architecture profession, in addition to a growing variety of practices that blur the lines between architecture, real estate, and tech startups.

Guest Speakers:

  • George Valdez
  • Quilian Riano
  • Manuel Schvartzburg
  • Phil Bernstein
  • Peggy Deamer
  • Paul Segal

We hope you can join in on the conversations.

UPDATE 6/29/2014:  Check out the video of the event below.  It was great to meet some very engaged and interested students.
