Architects, historians, and theorists have been obsessed with fascist architecture since postmodernism. But who are the antifascist architects? What does antifascist architecture look like? This book is the first attempt at creating a working definition. Antifascist Architecture collects a kaleidoscope of diverse architects who heroically aligned themselves with antifascist struggles around the world. It is written for students and practitioners of architecture, but also activists and scholars in the social sciences who are interested in antifascist history, theory, and practice.

Architecture and design have played an intimate role in creating the systems of oppression that bind us; it will have an equal role in dismantling them. Join a moderated discussion with authors Daniel Jonas Roche, Andrew Santa Lucia and Lane Rick in a panel discussion and Q&A moderated by Dayson Tavares where we will explore untethering architectural practice from corporate hegemony and the future of mutual aid in shaping our built environment.
